Be honest, you hate my guts right? Why would you ever ask me to do this??? Don't get on my nerves
Nothing yet...
(19/07/26) Baking
Way too many people wanted me to do this for them all of the time.
Am I capable? For sure. Do I want to be peer pressured into unpaid labour for people I don't like or care about? No, not really.
Let's just buy a cake.
I'll bake when it's fun again - the closest I've come to baking recently was using a pre-made cookie mix with my cousins.
(21/7/26) Rubber bands
Tried to make a rubber ball (is that a hobby?) but failed :(
Unknotting knots had a much higher rate of success.
I did, however, successfully make a skipping rope out of it which achieved aims 1,2,3 ad 5. Not a lot of exercise was done but as long as I'm not bedrotting...
Rubber ball making is a) not for the weak, and b) not for me. I did enjoy skipping though so maybe that's something?
(14/08/26) Journal
In making my about page, I've suddenly got the strongest urge to journal, not just online, but on paper.
(22/08/26) French
I'm relearning french again in case I don't get my first option in Spanish this year. I remember why I liked it.
(23/08/26) Should I buy a skateboard? (Spoiler: I bought a skateboard)
You ever get the indescribable urge to buy a skateboard?
Day 2 of french where I am reading an old grammar book aloud and doing the exercises. My throat is sore but my pronounciation is getting better in my opinion. There's this one trick I may try where where you hold a pencil sideways in your mouth and talk aloud. When you speak without it for the first time, you enunciate better since there's nothing in the way and you had to speak around a pencil properly to be understood.
UPDATE: Impulsively bought a very expensive skateboard.
Might buy a corkboard too, but less impuslively.
(23/08/26) Not a hobby + the first f ranked hobby
(Not a hobby but it is an interest) I want to learn about law and neuroscience.
UPDATE: Found a very good article that has a lot of different subjects to learn about. The news source might be a bit dodgy though so I won't be linking it.
Why must it be in podcast form?
(23/08/26) BSL
My primary school used to use bsl in assemblies when we and songs. It's fun!
(25/08/26) Skateboarding!!!
What if I said it was fun and I liked it and I finally found a sport I can do? What then?
I really need to buy safety equipment though...
Sidenote: Day 4 of french but only revised bsl for its 3rd day today.
(7/09/26) Perfume
This is actually someone else's hobby that I hijacked. I went with them to smell some perfumes and got pretty into it. I don’thave a particularly good noise in regards to distinguishing scents but I'mpretty sensitive to scents I don’t like. In fact, I am quite picky. I found that I like vanilla, oud, cherry and almond scents. My two favourites of the day were the cherry oud by guerlain and the lost cherry by tom ford. The latter became more almondy over time and the cherry faded quite a bit. Sadly, I only tried the lost cherry tester on my skin so I don't know if the oud one would smell as nice to me after a while. Altogether an interesting dive into the world pf perfume despite only going there to tag along.
